First Makes of January

The actual theme for January is organizing stash but I just don´t feel like it. I did some cleanup in my sewing corner and keep my iron in the box since the cleaning lady dropped it (my fault, left it on the stand which is not very stable. Actually she made me a favor by creating the need to buy a new one as I hated the one that broke.)

Since December didn´t really go as I planned I was ready for something easy and quick. Came up with 2 T-shirt from patterns I used a million times already. Busted 2m-s of stash total. More to come as I´ll be on holiday for the rest of the week and kids will be in daycare/kindergarten.

A januári téma rendszerezés, amihez nagyon nincs most kedvem.

  1. Hurrah for your first makes! I really like how you used the fabric on the turtle neck.

    1. I was thinking of doing the neck in the whitish piece but I convinced myself to do it in red. I really like how it came out too.

  2. First step is done. Well done. The shirt with turtle neck looks great. Having a TNT-pattern is always great.

    1. I never thought I will have TNT patterns but realized how good they are - easy success and multiple ways of tweaking so you actually don´t do the same thing over and over again.

    1. It´s a mid weight polyester knit. Normally I don´t like polyester knits but this was about $1/m and I love the print so I had to go for it :)

  5. Love your new turtleneck! Gorgeous fabric. Don't worry about the theme, the most important thing is that you are SEWING!!
